After graduation in 2018, I spent a year interning at BSH (Bosch) Home Appliances with their User Interface Design department in Irvine, California.

User Experience & Interface
Creating printed interfaces that seamlessly interacted with digital screens was among the tasks I was a part of at Bosch.
Appliance Graphics Design
Improving products with simple design updates was crucial for budget friendly product refreshes. In addition, some common tasks included; creating style guides, mockups, and a variety of design options for future products.
User Research & Testing
Our team aided in the creation of user testing models and protocols and also took part in conducting and monitoring UX testing. These tests included work on current and future products at different fidelities.

Role
After graduation in 2018, I spent a year interning at BSH (Bosch) Home Appliances with their User Interface Design department in Irvine, California.
Team
The team consisted of Myself, an additional Senior User Interface Designer, Connected Experience Marketing Managers, and an outside agency to develop this final product.
Digital Experience Design
The goal of this project was to create a digital asset that would explain the benefits of Bosch & Thermador’s enhanced digital presence. Including common use cases and how those could be improved with the Home Connect App was important in appealing to consumers.
Research
We began with in-store research. Trying out different existing tools and seeing what worked was our first step. Companies such as Google, Amazon, and Apple had great displays explaining how and why to use their products.
Prototyping
Understanding use cases and consumer benefits was our next step. We needed to decide how we could incorporate some of these digital elements to explain benefits to consumers. It was important to get people excited about having these features built into their daily lives.
Final Tool
The final product is a detailed online tool that incorporates product videos, tutorials, and walkthroughs. Final design touches were completed by an outside agency. Check it out through the link below!
